The Ohio River is 2 feet over flood stage - oh my!! We have a small creek behind the condo and it is VERY flooded. The other day someone was kyaking down it. Usually you can only wade in it. We even have some little rapids where the trees are in the middle of the creek. It is amazing to see the pictures of the river in downtown Louisville. There is a lot of water. If it is nice this weekend Mommy said we will try to go down and get pictures (she has pictures of cousins Scott and Brendan downtown St. Louis when it flooded when they were little - one of her favorites).
We shouldn't have to worry about the creek. There is a steep hill outside which is about 20 - 30 feet from our back door. We do have a mini lake outside the backdoor. Boy would I like to play in it, but its only 50 degrees! BRR..plus I don't feel too good.
